Once the table was stripped and sanded a walnut stain was applied to the legs and the underside of the table. |

After the stain I put a coat of glossy polyurethane. I also repaired one of the feet using Philadelphia Resins PhillySeal R (Rat Seal) Hardener. The feet and table top were painted "Stealth Jet" semi-gloss black. |

At this point the table restoration was complete, however, I wasn't satisfied with the paint color. I decided to repaint the table top and feet a more true black. |

Once the object was restored, I returned it to the tree lawn that I recovered it from. Along with the table I left an envelope that contained the completed condition report and photographic documentation of the entire restoration process. |
